SWIMMING BACKGROUND: I began swimming at age seven and never stopped.
PRE-MEET RITUAL: I have an odd routine of jumps and arm swings I do behind the blocks before every race to get my heart rate up and prepare for the race ahead.

RANDOM FACT: I pole vaulted for a few years in high school.
PLANS AFTER ST. OLAF: I am attending Northwestern University in Chicago to get my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT AS AN OLE ATHLETE:Competing at nationals twice and beating Gustavus in the 400 freestyle relay while getting All-American Honorable Mention.
BIGGEST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGIATE ATHLETICS: A higher level of competition at the collegiate level and the family atmosphere of the team.

GOALS FOR REST OF THE SEASON: Place All-Conference in the MIAC Championships and hopefully make it on to the NCAAs.
