- ¾ cup softened butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup white sugar

- 2 eggs

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugars.
- Beat in eggs, water, and vanilla.
- Gently mix in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the baking sheet immediately and cool.
London Fog Cake
Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 1 heaping tablespoon loose leaf Earl Grey tea
- 2 ¼ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon finely ground Earl Grey tea
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup butter at room temperature
- 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
Frosting:
- 3 sticks butter
- About 6 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream, warmed and steeped
with dried lavender
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons honey
Preparation
Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Bring milk and loose leaf tea to a boil.
- Turn heat off and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and measure
out 1 cup.
- Combine flour, baking powder, ground tea, and salt in a
medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy
(about 3 minutes).
- Reduce speed and add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and Earl Grey milk to butter
mixture
until fully incorporated.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes.
Frosting:
- Beat butter for about 30 seconds until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar a cup at a time until incorporated, then
add lavender steeped cream.
- Add honey, vanilla, and salt and beat on medium low until
combined.
- Frost cake.

Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ½ cups flour
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together water, yeast, and sugar. Wait for water to
become foamy as yeast activates.
- Add salt, oil, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Cover the bowl of dough with a towel and let rise for 20-
30 minutes.
- Form dough into a loaf and put on a greased baking sheet.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let rise for another 15-
30 minutes.
- Cut slits in the top of the loaf and bake for 20-25 minutes.
